How to play Yukon Solitaire
Start Yukon Solitaire by looking at the playing area and its controls. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Look at what changes after your first action. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Use the example below to understand a decision.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Make the controls familiar
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Follow this game’s rules rather than another version’s.
Step by step
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.
A useful example
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Notice the change in the playing area.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the rule before repeating the action. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
